Today, 1 December, the Romanian people celebrate 'Marea Unire', or the 'Great Union' that took place on 1th of December 1918. This date has a double meaning and importance for the Romanians. The first for the birth of the Romanian national state with the union of the historical regions and the second for the collapse of the communist regime with Ceausescu in 1991.

On 1st of December 1918, exactly 104 years ago, Romania we know today was born. After the defeat of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in World War I, an assembly of 1,228 Romanian delegates, gathered in Alba Iulia, decided on the unification of Transylvania with the other historical provinces. This put an end to the long process of the national unity of the Romanians.

Ok, amazing, but what does this have to do with us?

Well, today Sorint Romania is officially up&running. In a difficult economic environment, facing an economic recession, after having come close to another possible war, Sorint continues its globalisation path with the aim of becoming a very important technology hub in Eastern Europe as well, both for customers and for the internal ecosystem. Today, in fact, Florin (Sircle Dev/Arch), Amalia (Sircle Universe) and Damaris (Sircle Universe) will begin their new journey at Sorint, hoping that many more new colleagues will come after them.

For Sorint, as for the Romanian people, today, 1 December, a new chapter begins, a new story starts in the heart of Transylvania, specifically in Brașov, a city rich in culture and commerce like Bergamo, surrounded by Medieval walls and now home to the new Made in Romania Sorintian headquarter.

Sorint.Ro was born from the need to find new resources, to discover new territories and to offer new opportunities. We want to contribute and provide support through our competences to all those who need it. our roadmap is long and winding but we are not alone, we're proud to 'Be Part Of IT'.

Sorint.Ro marks a new beginning and, the story shows us how diversity actually leads to union (From the Latin UNO). Even if we are all different, with a very large multi-ethnic community and large variety of technical skills, all our sircles always have shared aims. Oggi 1 dicembre il popolo Romeno festeggia “Marea Unire”, ovvero la “Grande Unione” avvenuta il 1° dicembre del 1918. Questa data riveste per i romeni un doppio significato ed una doppia importanza. Il primo per la nascita dello Stato nazionale romeno con l’unione delle regioni storiche e il secondo per il crollo del regime comunista con Ceausescu nel 1991.

Il 1 dicembre 1918, 104 anni fa, ad Alba Iulia, nell’attuale Transilvania, nasceva l’attuale Romania che conosciamo oggi. Dopo la sconfitta dell’Impero Austroungarico nella Prima guerra mondiale, un’assemblea di 1.228 delegati romeni, riuniti ad Alba Iulia decise l’unificazione della Transilvania con le altre provincie storiche. Si mise così fine al lungo processo dell’unità nazionale dei romeni.

Ok, bello, ma tutto questo cosa c'entra con noi?

Ebbene proprio oggi diventa ufficialmente operativa Sorint Romania. In un contesto economico difficile, di fronte a una recessione economica, dopo aver sfiorato un'altra possibile guerra, Sorint continua il suo percorso di Globalizzazione con l'obiettivo di diventare anche nell'Europa dell'Est un Hub tecnologico molto importante sia per i clienti che per l'ecosistema interno. Oggi infatti Florin (Sircle Dev/Arch), Amalia (Sircle Universe) e Damaris (Sircle Universe) inizieranno il loro nuovo percorso in Sorint sperando che dopo di loro arriveranno tanti altri nuovi colleghi.

Per Sorint, come per il popolo romeno, oggi 1° Dicembre inizia un nuovo capitolo, una nuova storia ambientata nel cuore della Transilvania, precisamente a Brasov, una città ricca di cultura e commercio, anch'essa circondata da mura medievali e che ora ospita la nuova sede Made in Romania.

Sorint.Ro nasce dall'esigenza di trovare nuove risorse, scoprire nuovi territori e per offrire nuove opportunità. Vogliamo dare il nostro contributo e fornire supporto grazie alle nostre competenze a tutti coloro che ne avranno la necessità. la nostra Roadmap e lunga e tortuosa ma non siamo da soli, siamo fieri di essere 'Part Of IT'.

Sorint.Ro segna un nuovo inizio e, la storia ci dimostra come la diversità in realtà porta all'unione (Dal latino uno). Anche se diversi, con una comunità multietnica molto ampia e con competenze tecniche diverse, tutti i nostri sircle hanno sempre obiettivi comuni.
