Introducing: SorintWellness

sorintwellness logo.png These days, there is a lot of conversation around workplace wellbeing. Our work-life blend has changed with remote and hybrid working environments and individual wellness has become increasingly popular for people to practice. Now more than ever, we value a healthy and positive approach to our work. So what is workplace wellbeing and how will it work with SorintWellness?

Let’s start with what it’s not. Our workplace wellbeing does not include an outdated model of pressuring employees to make different personal health choices in their lives. We are sure you get enough exercise and eat your daily dose of fruits and vegetables! Our workplace wellbeing doesn’t include any corporate wellness software (a common industry approach) like apps that track health goals, behaviors, or choices. As a digital company, we imagine you already get enough screen usage! And finally, workplace wellbeing at Sorint isn’t ONLY about offering initiatives to you but it’s about creating a culture where wellbeing is embedded into the design of work. We want you to know that your wellness is important for us, so we will work hard for you to achieve it at work.

So let’s discuss what it is. It is SorintWellness. A 3 part program that aims at promoting wellness at Sorint.

It starts with a foundational approach to company culture. Work is a determinant of wellbeing. It directly shapes the condition of an individual’s wellbeing. Therefore, wellbeing is a shared company responsibility. Creating an environment conducive to wellbeing is a responsibility of leaders and a core component of their skillset. We believe that organizational structures impact wellbeing and with SorintWellness, we aim to prioritize this belief.

Then, it builds on that foundation with a wellness liaison. In order to diagnose and treat wellness-related concerns, a direct line of communication is in place for you to use. Do you have any wellness related feedback from your working environment? Then write to us at sorintwellness@sorint.com and tell us what we can do for you.

Finally, SorintWellness includes various initiatives for you to get involved in if you so choose. You can pick from frequent on-site wellness-themed workshops (at the Grassobio office), voluntary one-to-one mindfulness coaching, voluntary one-to-one support sessions, written materials on our WeTalk channel, and a wellness newsletter round-up.

All of these initiatives are made entirely for you, however it is completely voluntary to get involved.

We hope that by introducing SorintWellness, we can continue to make our work environment the best it can be for all Sorintians.
